Reavely & Rebecca

Reavely & Rebecca’s wedding day was set in the idyllic green pastures of Cornwall, at the bride’s home- Kelly Park in St.Dominic. The bride’s family worked arduously in the year building up to the wedding, transforming their working farm into a stunning wedding venue for over 200 guests to enjoy at the reception. The mother of the bride even took over the family’s veggie allotment and grew all of the wedding flowers herself. In true old english style, the couple married at the local village church, which made for some fantastic group shots of the wedding party following the newly wed couple back up the moss covered country lane to the farm.

After meeting the couple at their local St Mellion wedding fair, we hit it off straight away, and met up with the rest of the family at their home (and wedding venue) just before Christmas to discuss the day more fully. We scouted out potential portrait areas around the house and gardens and saw the barn which was to be the reception area. As they were organising the day themselves, with no wedding planner or fully kitted out venue, they asked my opinion on many topics other than photography. Having photographed so many weddings I was more than happy to offer advice on bars, decoration and even food (Paella- honestly it’s a great all round party pleaser and works well with large numbers)

“…..Drew, your photos are phenomenal!!!! We thought they would be good but we didn’t realise just quite how good they would be. They are so natural and you have captured every moment. Thank you so much! I don’t think I’ve ever seen photos that are so artistic and creative. We love them all and can’t stop looking at them!

We genuinely can’t thank you enough.

Thank you so much!

Becky and Reavely xx …”
